1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Cyberly platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Cyberly is a marketplace that connects individuals seeking cybersecurity expertise ("Seekers") with verified cybersecurity professionals ("Experts"). We facilitate secure video and phone consultations, course offerings, and related services. Cyberly does not directly provide cybersecurity advice — our Experts operate independently.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of our platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Expert Obligations

Experts on the Cyberly platform agree to:

  • Provide accurate professional credentials and qualifications
  • Deliver services professionally and in good faith
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information shared during consultations
  • Comply with all applicable laws and professional standards
  • Set accurate availability and respond to booking requests promptly

5. Seeker Obligations

Seekers on the Cyberly platform agree to:

  • Use the platform and consultations for lawful purposes only
  • Respect the time and expertise of the professionals they consult
  • Provide accurate information relevant to their consultation needs
  • Make timely payments for services received

6. Payments and Fees

Seekers pay for consultations at rates set by individual Experts. Cyberly charges a platform fee on each transaction. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and subject to our refund policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Cyberly platform belong to Cyberly or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they create, but grant Cyberly a license to use, display, and distribute such content as necessary to operate the platform.

8. Session Confidentiality

Consultation sessions are private between the Seeker and Expert. Neither party may record, distribute, or share session content without the express consent of all participants. Cyberly does not monitor the content of live sessions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Cyberly provides a platform for connecting Seekers and Experts and is not liable for the advice, recommendations, or services provided by Experts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyberly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of the Cyberly platform shall first be addressed through our internal dispute resolution process. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cyberly operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
